Ali Alsarraf is Special Counsel at Jenner & Block LLP, where he represents clients in high stakes domestic and international disputes and investigations. Ali is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation, Human Rights & Global Strategy, Investigations, Compliance & Defense, and International Arbitration practice groups, and its DEI Protection Task Force. Before joining Jenner & Block, Ali served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ann M. Donnelly of the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Before clerking, Ali was a litigation associate at a top law firm in New York, where he focused on complex commercial litigation, international arbitration, and securities litigation and investigations. Ali maintains an active pro bono practice involving immigration, civil rights, and prisoner rights matters. Ali is a member of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs Emerging Leaders Class of 2024 and the Institute for Inclusion in the Legal Profession Social Impact Incubator 2024 Cohort. He also co-founded the Alliance for Inclusion and Justice, which is dedicated to standing up against hate, bigotry, and discrimination against Arab and Muslim communities.



Madison Beck earned her juris doctor degree from the University of San Diego (USD) School of Law. At USD Law, Ms. Beck served on the board of the Women’s Law Caucus for the 2019-2020 school year, and participated in the San Diego International Law Journal, serving on the board for the 2020-2021 year. In the summer of 2020, Ms. Beck had the opportunity to serve as a COVID-19 Summer Research Fellow and authored a comment on the Migrant Protection Protocols and how these laws violated the constitutional rights of asylum seekers waiting for asylum at the U.S.-Mexico border during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ms. Beck became licensed to practice law in the state of California in 2021. Currently, Ms. Beck is a Staff Attorney at San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program (SDVLP) working on the Tenants’ Rights Program and the Shriver Domestic Violence Program. Ms. Beck specifically handles 30-,60-, and 90- day notices, reasonable accommodations in housing, security deposit disputes, unlawful rent increase, and San Diego buyout agreements. Additionally, Ms. Beck runs the domestic violence clinic in the San Diego Central Courthouse on Wednesdays and assists clients with filing domestic violence restraining orders. 

Prior to joining SDVLP, Ms. Beck gained valuable litigation experience in the Unlawful Detainer field. Ms. Beck provided full-scope representation to low-income tenants faced with UD’s where she drafted answers, propounded and responded to discovery, appeared at hearings, prepared for UD trials, and assisted many clients with settlement that prevented an eviction on their record.

Ms. Beck is passionate about LGBTQ+ rights, women's rights, civil rights, and tenants’ rights. She has earned recognition from San Diego County Supervisor Nora Vargas for her organization of the South Bay Rainbow Ride, a community caravan in Chula Vista that originated during the COVID-19 Pandemic to celebrate PRIDE together safely. Ms. Beck is currently a committee member of the National Conference of Women's Bar Associations GOOD Guys Committee (GOOD = Guys Overcoming Obstacles to Diversity), which is dedicated to breaking the impasse in women's advancement in the legal profession by engaging male leaders in the cause. She also serves on the Board of Rainbow Spaces, a nonprofit with a mission to create inclusive spaces for queer children and families in the South Bay and will be serving as the Lawyers Club-NCWBA liaison for the 2023-2024 year.

Dr. Elizabeth Bodamer (she/her/ella) has a PhD in Sociology from Indiana University Bloomington and a J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. She was the 2019-2020 American Bar Foundation/AccessLex Doctoral Fellow in Legal Education & Higher Education and her dissertation focused on exclusionary experiences and sense of belonging in U.S. law schools. As a Ph.D. student at Indiana, Dr. Bodamer was also the Director of Student Affairs at Indiana University Maurer School of Law.  At LSAC. she was the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Policy & Research Analyst and Senior Program Manager before becoming the Director of Research. A 2008 LSAC PLUS Alumna, today, Dr. Bodamer leads the applied research agenda and strategic research team focused on equity in admission, innovation, and programmatic impact.



Ernesto Danache IV is an attorney at Greenberg Traurig, LLP. He focuses his practice on complex domestic and international corporate and transactional matters. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Ernesto regularly works with clients doing business domestically and internationally across a range of industries, with an emphasis in the renewable energy, power, fuels, and oil and gas sectors. His areas of focus include mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances, private equity, project and infrastructure finance, project development, capital markets, corporate formations and governance, domestic and cross-border business structuring, and general corporate and business law matters. Ernesto has worked with clients from around the world, including the United States, Latin America, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Ernesto completed his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, and his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center.



Alexandra Daniels is a partner in the Chicago Transaction Practice Group. Alexandra advises multinational companies on spin-offs, cross-border transactions, pre- and post-transaction corporate reorganizations, including post-acquisition integrations, and general corporate and commercial law transactions. She represents clients in the logistics, manufacturing, transportation and healthcare industries, among others.

Alexandra focuses her practice cross-border business transformations. She also works closely with our cross-border tax team on corporate restructurings, post-acquisition integrations, global cash utilization projects, legal entity rationalizations and other complex projects. Among her recent representative matters Alexandra advised on split-off of Cummins Inc. Filtration business to Atmus Filtration Technologies Inc., FedEx Corporation on its post-acquisition integration of TNT Express and a US-listed global healthcare company on a post-acquisition integration in 30+ jurisdictions.

As a former in-house attorney for The Coca Cola Company, Alexandra not only understands the demands of business transformations on multinational corporations from the perspective of the client but also appreciates how to seamlessly apply this skill set across various industries and corporate structures.

Allen Davis is an associate in Orrick's Washington, D.C. office, and a member of the firm's Antitrust & Competition practice group.

Allen has significant antitrust experience on active litigations, including representing a nuclear waste disposal company, an airline industry travel technology provider, a telecommunications company in Clayton Act § 7 trials and a pharmaceutical manufacturer in its defense against Sherman Act §§ 1-2 claims. He is also highly skilled in drafting persuasive motions and briefs and preparing witnesses for depositions, first chairing third-party deposition and second chairing offensive and defensive depositions.



LaTessa Gray is an associate in Taft’s Intellectual Property and Franchise and Distribution groups. She counsels a variety of local and national clients on copyright, trademark, and trade secret matters. Tessa also assists clients with franchise creation, identifying and pursuing potential franchise opportunities, and expanding business through licensing and similar models. She regularly handles pre-litigation enforcement matters while also strategizing, filing, auditing, and maintaining trademark and copyright registrations.

Amongst other activities, Tessa succeeded in dismissing a seven-figure copyright infringement lawsuit, assisted a franchisor in operating in all registration-states, became a frequent contributor for the World Trademark Review, spoke for the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts Committee of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association on issues related to copyright and artificial intelligence, and was selected for the International Trademark Association’s Famous and Well-Known Marks Committee.

In her free time, Tessa volunteers at local middle schools and educates students on their legal rights. She is also a frequent volunteer at the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland’s record sealing clinic.

Tessa received her Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Lincoln University. The Lincoln Humanities Journal published her article, “A False Perception of Strangeness: How America Creates its Exclusivity,” in 2017, the same year Tessa studied abroad at London South Bank University. Tessa was a summer associate at Taft Cleveland while attending law school. She was the 2021 recipient of the Microsoft x IIPSJ Outstanding Student in IP Award. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Howard University School of Law, Washington, D.C., in 2021 and is a member of the National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40.



Elle Hayes focuses her practice on general corporate matters, particularly mergers and acquisitions. She represents clients on renewable energy transactions including project finance and tax equity transactions. She has experience working with clients across a variety of industries, including media, entertainment, sports, renewable energy, healthcare and technology.

While in law school, Elle was assistant communications editor for the Journal of Technology Law & Policy. She also served as a student volunteer coordinator with Southern Legal Counsel, where she organized events to assist homeless and low-income individuals obtain legal advice, and interned with Chief Judge Joseph Farina of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court of Florida.

Elle was recognized as one of the 2020 The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 – Florida. Her community involvement include:  Elle Hayes Foundation for Women and Children, Founder; Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center for Women, and YWCA Miami Influencers, Member.  

She earned her JD, cum laude,  from the University of Florida Levin College of Law,  and her BA, magna cum laude, from University of Central Florida. 



Janet Lee is a shareholder at Banner Witcoff. Janet assists a wide range of clients from startups to international corporations to pro bono organizations on a variety of intellectual property issues, including trademark counseling, copyright infringement, and online enforcements matters.

Janet serves as co-chair for the Diversity and Inclusion Committee at Banner Witcoff. She also previously served as Chair of the Trademarks and Anti-Counterfeiting Committee with the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago (IPLAC) and 2023 Leadership Counsel on Legal Diversity Pathfinder Program. She is currently involved in the International Trademark Association (INTA) Enforcement Committee. 



Imran Mir is a Vice President, Assistant General Counsel in the Legal Department at JP Morgan Chase.  In his current role, Imran provides day to day legal advice on regulatory matters impacting the bank.  He’s filled various roles in Compliance and Controls at JP Morgan Chase since 2014.  Imran is a graduate of the University of Toronto and Albany Law School.



Jonathan Morhaim Jonathan is a Cuban-American originally from South Florida. After graduating Florida Gulf Coast University with honors, he attended the Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia on academic scholarship. After law school, Jonathan served as an Assistant State Attorney for the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida. During that time, he tried over 50 jury and non-jury cases to verdict including first degree and punishable-by-life felonies. After leaving the State Attorney’s Office Jonathan began practicing civil litigation at well-respected Florida firms, including the Fort Lauderdale office of his current firm – Hinshaw & Culbertson LLC. While practicing in Florida, Jonathan was very involved in the Hispanic legal community and local bar. He served on multiple executive and advisory boards. For example, he was an executive member of the Broward County Hispanic Bar Association, the Broward County Bar Association Hispanic Lawyer’s Committee, and the Hispanic Vote Political Action Committee. In 2021, Jonathan was recognized as one of the Top 40 Under 40 by the Broward County Bar Association.   

Currently, Jonathan practices primarily out of his firm’s Chicago office. He has successfully litigated, multiple high-profile cases. Such litigation included successfully defending a multi-million dollar lawsuit against a Chicago Major League Baseball team. He also successfully represented a major trucking company in a highly-publicized case involving Tesla's Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), which incorporated trends in cutting-edge autonomous driving technologies. Indeed, Jonathan’s practice is diverse – he currently represents clients in: construction, complex tort and casualty, commercial litigation, products liability, personal injury, labor and employment, white collar defense, and premises liability matters. Moreover, his dedication to serving the Hispanic community is ongoing. Jonathan is currently serving as the Deputy President for Region IX of the Hispanic National Bar Association.



Sophie Nguyen is an attorney at JPMorgan Chase in Washington, D.C. As Vice President and Assistant General Counsel, she provides legal support for data use and privacy matters across various lines of businesses within Consumer and Community Banking, including retail banking, credit cards, home lending, auto financing, wealth management, business banking, and connected commerce. Sophie’s prior experiences at IBM and a tech start-up has paved the way for her to support the Chief Data Office and the Privacy Center of Excellence in her current position.

Sophie thrives on being an active member of multiple organizations within the JPMC legal department, including the Asian and Pacific Islander Legal Forum, the D.C. Legal Employee Engagement team, the Legal Hackathon team, and the Growth Mindset Committee.

Sophie holds a B.A. in International Affairs from the University of Georgia along with a J.D./M.B.A. and an LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova University. In her spare time, she enjoys watching college football (go Dawgs!) and cooking.



Tunji Ogunmefun is a Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at JPMorgan Chase, where he also held prior roles as a KYC Officer and KYC Operations Manager. In his current role as Assistant General Counsel for JPMorgan Chase, Tunji provides corporate governance support to various subsidiaries of JPMorgan. A graduate of Loyola University of New Orleans College of Law, Tunji received the Gillis Long Poverty Law Center Award for commitment to social justice upon graduating law school. Prior to law school, he dedicated two years to service in Americorps, organizing and leading various development projects across Louisiana, Iowa and other states.



Sachi Schuricht is a member of Orrick's Supreme Court and Appellate practice. She focuses on high stakes appeals and dispositive motions in federal and state courts across the country.

Sachi has co-authored numerous briefs and law-intensive motions in federal and state courts of appeals and trial courts, including certiorari and amicus-stage briefing in the U.S. Supreme Court. Her practice covers a wide range of substantive areas, including constitutional law and statutory interpretation, intellectual property and trade secrets, employment law, criminal law, immigration, class actions, and other complex commercial litigation. Sachi also has served as “appellate eyes” at trial, helping to guide strategic decisions involving preservation of issues and objections and teeing up issues in the best posture for appeal.   

Prior to joining Orrick, Sachi clerked for Justice Leondra Kruger of the California Supreme Court and Judge Kenneth Ripple of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Sachi attended the University of Michigan Law School, where she served as an Executive Editor of the Michigan Law Review and a research assistant working at the intersection of constitutional and international law. Before law school, Sachi worked in documentary film production; she received the Thomas J. Watson Fellowship for her work in the same field. She recently served as a lecturer in Entertainment Law for the Department of Film and Media at the University of California, Berkeley.

Sachi earned a B.A. from Colgate University, summa cum laude, phi beta kappa and her  J.D. from University of Michigan Law School, magna cum laude, order of the coif.



Jousef Shkoukani is a third-year associate at Shook, Hardy & Bacon LLP (Chicago). His legal practice concentrates on defending complex litigation disputes in areas of tort and product liability. He is also uniquely situated in an office that specializes in commercial litigation matters, including anti-trust work, securities litigation, consumer class action, and more. From responding to a complaint and filing early dispositive motions to moving a case through discovery and handling pre-trial procedures, Jousef personally manages a healthy portion of any clients’ litigation needs. Jousef also has some trial experience and is scheduled to first chair an arbitration for a Fortune 500 client this year. His pro bono work includes successfully helping a Somali Refugee seek asylum in 2022— the proudest moment in Jousef’s legal profession.  

Outside of his legal practice, Jousef is heavily involved in the community. In 2020, he launched Unified Under Hope (“UUH”), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) focused on empowering the next generation of leaders by addressing certain education inequities throughout minority school districts. So far, UUH works with some of the largest school districts in the United States and has served over 500 students. In 2023, Forbes recognized Jousef and UUH on its 30 Under 30 Chicago list. Kike Aluko Wahutu is a member of the Entertainment & Media Practice at Greenberg Traurig. She focuses her practice on a diverse range of transactions within the entertainment industry with an emphasis on digital music licensing, music-related deals for film and television, and the representation of talent. She has experience drafting and negotiating digital content agreements with music licensors on behalf of clients with digital music/media services, music deals in connection with original film/TV content on major streaming platforms, and various music agreements on behalf of talent clients, including agreements with music producers, songwriters, publishing companies, guest artists, and more. As a classically trained musician and an MBA graduate, Kike brings a variety of valuable perspectives to her practice that provide her with a unique understanding of the creative and business issues facing the music industry. Kike also maintains an active pro bono practice focused on representing individuals from marginalized communities in the music industry and beyond. 

Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Kike spent time working with the Nigerian Copyright Commission, Spotify, Creative Artists Agency (CAA), and Pandora. Before graduate school, Kike had a six-year career in the non-profit sector, where she worked with under-represented communities in health education and professional career development. 

Kike is a JD/MBA graduate from Harvard University, and a 2009 graduate from Stanford University. She is currently admitted to practice in New York and Georgia.
